With the festive season upon us, many thoughts come to mind. Going back to its origins, the Winter Solstice, mankind has sought to celebrate the beginning of rebirth or another chance—again, we are faced with a choice. An opportunity to do what? Do we want to repeat the cycle we are in or take a chance and ask for a shower of blessings? If so, are we willing to get wet, i.e. venture to new behavior, which, in essence, a shower offers?
Is it time to give a token of appreciation to people who don’t even know, sometimes neither do you, how much they impact, help, and assist along the way? A customer of ours has placed a bulk order of product and sent us the picture attached. She is giving anyone, as the season begs for kissing, a lip balm whom she would not give a “gift” to.
Shamelessly commercial, I am seizing on the opportunity to share this in the hope some of you may think likewise for now, or on Valentine’s Day.
As William Shakespeare said in Richard III:
Teach not thy lips such scorn madam,
They were made for kissing not for such contempt!
May you hold those words dear and bring joy to your surroundings in your words, deeds, and presence. ONWARD towards 2025
