Rivers do not drink their own water; trees do not drink their own fruit; The sun does not shine on itself, and flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves. Living for others is a rule of nature. We are all born to help each other, no matter how difficult it is. Life is good when you are happy but much better when others are happy because of you.
Credited to Pope Francis, and in the coming period something to remember as the world changes about us. We are all capable of living in the illusion that our life is under our control and there is a predictability which is the consequence of our actions. However, as forecasts show us, they are invariably wrong.
We are in for a change without doubt, but what it actually brings upon us is long not certain. Will/is there upheaval, indeed, however, the most relevant point is that we remember, whatever is imposed upon us, we are all in it together and by seeking how can we assist each other, the better off we will be.
Probability does not work in chaos, our current dynamics are uncertain, so how can we expect to know where we will be at the end of the year. The shelf life of probability seems ever shorter. How could we have thought America could become so unstable and disliked? Our lesson is from this, there are no simple fixes and if you have no plan your plan will fail.
We cannot control these changes, but hopefully we can remember that we are part of the whole. My daughter has just taken on a large loan to buy a business. As a father I live in trepidation. I see so many possibilities ahead but am reminded that she will work through this because of her courage and tenacity towards her own life.
A friend of mine was deeply committed to a girl he knew, indeed one may say “in Love’ only to find out that despite the friendship she was completely disinterested in any further connection. We cannot predict the world about us as much as we try to create a scenario of optimism and predictability. My daughter has a dream for her acquisition; my friend had a dream for this union. Both were correct in following through on their hope. So, we must, with an open heart, follow what we believe in, but remain aware that change is not here to hurt us merely to open other avenues of opportunity.
This week’s musing is just that. I hear criticism of Pope Francis, really, he, like my daughter and friend did/do their very best, let’s do our own very best in looking after ourselves and each other.
Lip Balm, why not have a natural Balm by your bed, and last thing at night give your lips the moisture that makes them thrive. My chainsaw accident on my leg is barely visible, and our shoulder operation candidate must have his therapist tape the injured shoulder so he knows which one was operated. Our wound cream really WORKS!
Thanks for reading and I appreciate every one of you who supports us through purchasing our products. Tariffs at the moment affect our paper tubes but we will hopefully not live with the 145% surcharge when we resupply.
See you soon, Gjoko
